After I got my shirt back I put some catnip in an old sock and gave it to Daisy as her Christmas gift to play with for a little while...

Tonight Daisy pulled up a rug to make a pillow for her to lay her head on as she laid by the wood stove.

Hilarious. She is hilarious. Ever been to the toy aisle of a pet store. Who buys their cats all these things? Mine always just want a cardboard box or ball of aluminum foil, etc. Or a sock full of catnip. They'd love that. I'll have to try it. I just sprinkle it on the carpet and the writhe and roll all over it. A sock! Good thinking.
Over the year I have bought Daisy a few fancy toys but she had little to no interest in them. So I stick to the basics now. Balls, sticks, string, rubber bands, boxes, and empty paper bags. I have a mess on my dining room floor. An empty paper bag is her latest favorite toy. The bag is pretty beat up now. She sticks her head into it; runs into it; and somethings somersaults on top of it flattening it.
