Ginger will drink out of any puddle, bowl, drain, crack in the sidewalk that accumulates water. Nevermind that she has a couple bowls of fresh, clean water....
Daisy is the same. I have fresh water in her dish and she prefers to drink water from everywhere else. She loves drinking from the downspout when it rains and thinks the cattle's water trough is for her. When I dump the water from her dish on a plant she runs over and then tries to drink the water before it soaks into the dirt.
