Mouse hunting

While I was working on a fence rebuild Daisy did a little mouse hunting in the hayfield.  She sat out here for a while, then went and sat on old fence posts laying on the ground.  After a while she went back to the spot in the photos and after a few minutes caught a mouse.  I praised her as she carried the mouse back to the fence and the pasture.  But then she dropped the mouse and it escaped down a mouse hole before she could catch it again.
