Daisy doesn't always sleep in funny positions. Sometimes she uses a pillow.

In a wheelbarrow
Once I finished working on the fences I cleaned out the wheelbarrow I had been using. Once it was clean Daisy hopped in. Maybe Daisy would have spent more time with me working on the fences if she had a clean wheelbarrow to lay in.

Three gates rebuild
When I rebuilt an area of fence with three gates, Daisy kept me company some days. Usually Daisy only ranges as far as the corral, hayshed and a very short distance into the hayfield near the house and corral. But I got her to come in me a few times while I worked. She was nervous about being out in the open with no cover nearby.
Here she is the first day I started the rebuild. She paced back and forth looking here and there. I don't think she lasted a half hour before she went back to the corral and barn and waited for me there.
Here Daisy is waiting for me near the corral.
By the end of the fence rebuild Daisy got braver and would stay out with me for longer periods of time. I also found she liked shade. When not searching for mice in the hayfield, or laying on the old pile of wooden posts, she would lay in the shadow of the wheelbarrow. Otherwise she would stay longer with me in the evening when the sun was not so hot - and this was back in May when the high temperatures barely reached 70 degrees.
Daisy often would accompany me when I got railroad ties or posts for the rebuild.
I store the railroad ties on blocks to keep them off the ground. Daisy would "give me a heart attack" when she would go under the ties and lay there. There is a lot of weight on those old blocks and I don't trust the blocks would hold up, especially when I was moving ties around. None of the blocks crumbled, but I would have to stop work when Daisy went underneath them.

Fat? Or...?
Does my butt look fat? |
Okay, I guess not.
Last few weeks we have seen a couple other cats around. One time it was a rangy orangeish cat. A few other times it has been a better groomed long haired black cat with white feet. The cats were skittish so I didn't get a good look at them - but they probably were boys.
The other day Tammy and I noticed something on Daisy's belly. I checked further and found a nipple. Is Daisy pregnant?! Stay tuned.

Cement block sitting
Keeping me company as I dug around the strawberries and rhubarb, and keeping watch over the horses and the yard back when the horses were in the yard.

Fence walking, etc.
A little fence walking. First Daisy sharpened her claws...
Then here is a 6 second video of Daisy on the fence.

Watching for mice. The hole behind the plant on the left side got her interest for a while.
One evening I stopped and chatted with the neighbor as I walked back from the hayshed. The neighbor has four small dogs so Daisy sat down in the tall grass a distance away and waited for me. One of the neighbor's dogs stood for a better look at Daisy.
Wanting to go outside after dark. Some nights she is very insistent on wanting to go outside after dark. She will meow and meow and scratch at the screen door. Her scratching is like fingernails on a chalkboard to Tammy.
Another night Daisy was outside after dark.
Other nights she is out like a light on my computer chair.

Riding a snuggie
The other night Tammy and Daisy played with Tammy's snuggie. Tammy drug it around the house and Daisy attacked it. Sometimes Daisy rode on the snuggie and attacked at the same time. It was harder for her to keep her balance when she did that.

Water trough drinking
Daisy loves to drink water from the horse's water trough.
Here is a 49 second video of Daisy drinking from the water trough.
