Tammy took a few photos of Daisy.
The other night Daisy laid and slept in her usual style by Tammy on the snuggie on the loveseat.
Today Daisy laid a while in a box I had for wood near the wood stove as I cleaned the ashes and prepared the wood stove for a fire. Here Tammy took photos of Daisy after I left and went outside.

Normal sleeping
For once Daisy is not sleeping on her back.
Today Daisy was pretty active.
A little after 6 am Daisy got me out of bed so she could go outside even though I tried to ignore her. At 8:30 pm she meowed loudly for me to get up to let her back in the house. I went back to bed to sleep a little more. After she ate some food she came meowing at me until I finally gave up and got out of bed. Daisy didn't want to go outside - she wanted me to get out of bed.
After some running around the house she followed me outside the house when I dumped the wood stove ashes in the hayfield. When I went to the pole shed to get firewood Daisy went into ninja mode. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her run into another part of the pole shed. She hid under some material. Minutes later when I walked by the tool shed Daisy ran behind me and around the back of the tool shed to hide. More ninja action.
Around 11 am she settled down and came back in the house and chilled out on the back of the couch.
In the evening after Tammy and I got back from setting up her Treasure Market to be held on Saturday, I did a little work in the corral. More ninja action from Daisy as she would run here and there and then hide from me as I moved around the corral.
I don't know why Daisy is in ninja mode right now.

Snuggie sleeping
Daisy woke me up after 5 am, woke me again at 6 am and then went outside. Came in at 10 am. After that she stuck like glue to be near me. By the time Tammy came back home at 4 pm from her Washington trip Daisy was nodding off. So no big celebration to see Tammy. Instead, once Tammy came home, Daisy claimed Tammy's spot on the loveseat and her snuggie and was out like a light. She didn't even stir when I took a photo of her. Usually Daisy settles down for her nap by noon or 1 pm.

Snuggie napping
Today is a lazy day for Daisy. She doesn't have much interest in going outside as it is a cool and windy day. Yes, she did scratch on the closet door and bed and meow at 6 am but didn't want to go outside. Thanks... Daisy.
Last night I had to sit on the floor to watch TV as Daisy claimed the loveseat and snuggie. At one point she stretched out and would have fallen off the loveseat if Tammy and I hadn't caught her.
Currently Daisy is sleeping on my computer chair while I use another chair. No... she isn't a princess or spoiled.

Nightmares?
Last night Tammy, Daisy and I watched some episodes on DVD of the show "American Horror Story".
Daisy laid in her basket when we watched the first episode and at the end of the scary episode she was wide eyed. For the next episode Daisy laid on Tammy's lap, and the snuggie, for protection.
That night Daisy slept in the bed between Tammy and me. She rarely does that.

Staying warm on a cold day
We didn't get the snow. Yay!
We didn't get the strong winds. Yay!
But the predicted cold is slowly settling in.
The temperature was just barely above zero F at noon today. Here are the forecast low temperatures for tonight.
Daisy was smart and decided to spend the day inside. She went outside a couple times in the morning, but very briefly. Even when I went outside late afternoon to feed and water the cattle Tammy couldn't interest Daisy in joining me. Instead she sat at the window and watched me.
When I watched the noon news and weather on TV Daisy settled down on the snuggie for a nap next to me.
An unusual sounding jet flying overhead got Daisy's interest.
Then back to her nap.

Sleep typing
The hay in the hay shed is all used up. To feed the cattle I now have used enough hay bales from the barn that Daisy can now jump up different levels to the top of the hay bales. She spent the afternoon checking the barn for mice. So... she was tired in the evening and slept on the snuggie next to Tammy.
But Daisy still wanted to help Tammy on her computer and started some "sleep typing".

Sleepy snuggie kitty
Daisy was outside for most of Friday and didn't get back into the house until after 8:30 pm when Tammy and I got back from setting up her Treasure Market at the fairgrounds. Daisy was very hungry as Tammy couldn't open the house door fast enough. Later Daisy crashed on the couch snuggled up to Tammy while laying on 'her' snuggie.

Riding a snuggie
The other night Tammy and Daisy played with Tammy's snuggie. Tammy drug it around the house and Daisy attacked it. Sometimes Daisy rode on the snuggie and attacked at the same time. It was harder for her to keep her balance when she did that.

Daisy's ride home
I think Daisy wanted to stay at my brother's house in North Dakota. She had settled into an active routine. There was lots to see and do there. The morning we left Daisy held on to the chair.
Here is a 59 second video of Daisy in the chair:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGpF_udN9xc
Once we got in the car we had to hold onto Daisy as she wanted to bolt from the minivan back into the house. Once we got under way Daisy settled down on the floor under Tammy's snuggie. Every once in a while Daisy would poke her head out of the snuggie to look around.
For a change of pace Daisy slept on the floor under my legs.
Then back to sleeping with Tammy.
When we stopped for gas in Malta Tammy put Daisy on a leash for a walk outside the minivan. A good thing she was on a leash as Daisy wanted to run once she was outside the minivan. She had no interest in eating, drinking or going to the bathroom either at the gas stop or when we were driving.
Unlike our trip to North Dakota, on our return trip Daisy did not throw up. She mainly slept the entire time.
When Tammy was in Minnesota her sister gave her this creepy ugly cat statue. Once we got home Tammy set the statue on the front step. When Daisy first saw the statue she wasn't sure about it. She crouched down and sneaked up on it.
Once she realized it was a statue and not a cat Daisy ignored it.
If only I could ignore the creepy statue.
