I had to get another hay bale out for the cattle. I also put the cow who I think will calve this coming week into the south part of the corral. I also put the calf who has white muscle disease in with her so he doesn't have to walk as much and gets plenty of hay to eat. To prepare for this I put a lot of straw under the shelter next to the barn.
When doing all this Daisy 'helped' me. Or at least supervised. She walked her and there with me as I went here and there. Since Donna was coming to help with the gates when I sorted the cow and calf into the south corral, Daisy decided it was time to go inside the house and take a nap as I didn't need her 'help' anymore.
