and then when I showed up Daisy left but not before trying to open the closet door. Then it was out to the living room and some meowing. At least she settled down fairly quickly and quietly spent the night. She had her two toys and I left the blinds up on one window by the couch. I found her there in the morning.
I put out a new block of suet for the birds and Daisy was enamored with the birds. In the morning she sat on the narrow window sill and scared off the birds. Once she settled down for a nap in the afternoon the birds finally felt safe enough to eat.
Daisy slept all afternoon so I imagine she'll be up much of the night again.
